Dr. Benjamin Massenburg is currently a resident in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington, United States. He is a future craniofacial fellow at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

He studied biomedical engineering for his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He was selected as a Paul Farmer Global Surgery Research Associate through Harvard Medical School and spent a year working on global surgery advocacy and health system strengthening in Brazil and India. His clinical and research interests include cleft lip and palate surgery, orthognathic surgery, cranial vault remodeling, facial reconstruction, and rhinoplasty. He is originally from Maui, Hawaii, and when outside of the hospital he enjoys surfing, mountain biking, and spending time with his family.
