Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is located in sunny Miami, Florida, USA, and is home to the one of the oldest multi-disciplinary cleft and craniofacial centers in the state. The Craniofacial Surgery program at Nicklaus Children’s, formerly Miami Children’s Hospital, was spearheaded by ISCFS founding member Dr. S. Anthony Wolfe. The program has regular, weekly multi-disciplinary evaluation days on which patients with a wide range of cleft and craniofacial disorders are seen, including, but not limited to, cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, craniofacial microsomia, craniofacial dysostoses, tumors of the maxillofacial region, microtia, dentofacial disorders, etc. The fellowship is a one year program for individuals with a background in plastic surgery and for those who are eligible for temporary licensure in the state of Florida, U.S.A. The fellowship offers a broad operative experience as well as exposure to pre-operative and post-operative decision making in the clinic setting. Further information can be found on our Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Craniofacial Fellowship website.
